Signs your rear wiper is out of position.

  • Wiper not aligned with rear glass
  • Wiper sitting too low
  • Wiper touching or hitting car body
  • Uneven wiping area

👉 This usually happens when the wiper arm shifts from its original position.


🔩 Step-by-Step Guide

1️⃣ Remove Bolt Cover

Open the wiper bolt cover.

Gently open the plastic cap using your fingers or a small tool.

2️⃣ Remove 10mm Bolt

Loosen and remove the bolt.

Use a 10mm socket to remove the bolt holding the wiper arm.


3️⃣ Remove & Reposition Wiper

Adjust the wiper to correct position.
Wiggle and pull out the wiper. Reposition it properly horizontal and not touching the body.

4️⃣ Reinstall Wiper

Install back and tighten.

Install everything back in reverse order and tighten securely.


5️⃣ Test the Wiper

Make sure it works smoothly.

Turn on the wiper and check alignment and movement.

Step-by-step DIY guide to fix your Viva bonnet easily.

What is a Rear Bonnet Damper?

The rear bonnet damper (also known as a gas strut) is a component that supports and holds your car’s rear hatch open.

When it fails, the hatch will:

  • Fall down suddenly
  • Not stay open
  • Feel weak or unstable

Step-by-Step Replacement Guide

1. Open and Support the Hatch

Ensure safety before starting.
Open the rear hatch fully and secure it with a stick or have someone hold it. ⚠️ Important: The hatch may fall once the damper is removed.


2. Locate the Retaining Clips

Identify connection points.
Find the small metal clips on both ends of the damper.


3. Remove the Retaining Clip

Remove the clip completely.
Use a screwdriver to pry out and remove the clip completely.


4. Create Clearance

Make space for easier removal.
Gently bend/pry the cover slightly outward near the damper bolt to create space for removal.


5. Remove the Damper

Lower mounting removal.
  • Remove 2 bolts at the bottom (cover side)
Upper mounting removal.
  • Then remove 2 bolts at the top (bonnet side)

Carefully take out the old damper.


6. Install the New Damper

Install the new unit in reverse order:
Fix upper section.

  • Fix top bolts first
Complete installation.
  • Then secure bottom bolts
  • Ensure everything is tightened properly

7. Repeat on the Other Side

Always replace both dampers together for balanced support and longer lifespan.


8. Test the Hatch

Improve durability and safety.

Open the rear bonnet and check:
✅ It should now stay open firmly
✅ No more falling or instability

Perodua Axia 2017 Advance 🔧 – Driver Door Handle Replacement (Right Side) | DIY Tutorial

Is your Perodua Axia 2017 Advance driver-side door handle broken or loose? You're not alone—this is a common issue due to internal plastic cracking. In this guide, we’ll walk you through the full replacement process based on an actual repair done on the Axia RH (right-hand) driver’s side.

🪛 Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: 🔍Identify the Problem
The door handle is cracked inside and feels loose. This makes it impossible to open the door from the outside—a clear sign that the internal plastic mechanism has failed.

Step 2: 🧩Disassemble the Door Panel
Start by accessing the internal door components:

Remove the screw near the inner door handle.

Slightly pull out the rear part of the armrest and insert a trim tool to lift it fully.

Disconnect the mirror control connector.

Remove the screw at the rear of the panel.

Detach the lower door frame bracket garnish (RH).

Remove the door glass run channel if necessary.

Step 3: 🔧Remove the Trim Panel (Clip Disengagement)
Before removing the full door panel:

Disengaged the specific clip shown in the video using a pry tool or flathead screwdriver

Carefully work your way around the panel, prying out the clips one by one.

Step 4: 🛡️Access the Handle Area
Once the panel is off:

Carefully peel back the plastic moisture barrier to access the inner door mechanism.

Do you often feel frustrated when your SYM 125 Jet Power's winker switch fails to function? You're not alone. This blog post will guide you through a simple yet effective DIY repair to address this common issue and ensure smooth signalling on your scooter.

Replace the new winker/signal switch.

Step 1: Diagnose Scooter

  1. Before diving into any repairs, accurately diagnosing the issue with your SYM 125 Jet Power scooter's winker switch is crucial.

    Test the functionality of the winker switch.

  2. Once you've diagnosed your SYM 125 Jet Power scooter and confirmed that the winker switch is non-responsive or the turn signals are not working correctly, it's time to take action.

Step 2: Swapping Out the Switch:

  1. Let's dive right in! The first step is to remove the front cover (Click HERE for a guide on removing the SYM 125 Jet Power Cover). Once the cover is removed, it's time to remove the old winker switch.

    Remove the broken winker switch.

  2. Once the screws are removed, gently pry the old switch out of its housing. Be sure to handle it with care to avoid damaging any surrounding components.

    Remove the wiring attached to the winker switch.

    Pry out the clip that holds the old switch.

    Push the winker switch out.

Step 3: Installing the New Switch:

  1. With the old switch out of the way, it's time to install the new one. Simply reverse the process, inserting the new switch into the housing. Make sure the switch fits snugly.

    Push the new winker switch to its place.

    Make sure the wiring is connected correctly.

Step 4: Testing the Functionality

  1. Now comes the moment of truth! Turn on your SYM 125 Jet Power and test the winker switch. Observe the indicator on the meter display to confirm that it's functioning as it should.

Troubleshooting and Repairing No Power Issues | SYM 125 Jet Power

Nothing is more frustrating for motorcycle owners than encountering power supply issues. Whether you're an experienced rider or a beginner, a motorcycle with no power can ruin your day and leave you stranded. In this blog, we will walk you through a real-life scenario of diagnosing and fixing a motorcycle power problem step by step.

SYM 125 Jet Power Scooter

Step 1: Verify Battery and Fuse Condition
  1. The first thing to check when facing power issues is the battery and fuse. Ensure that both the battery and the fuse have a voltage reading between 12V and 13Vdc. A low or dead battery could be the root cause of the problem.

Step 2:  Inspect the Main Switch Terminal
  1. If the battery and fuse are in good condition, move on to the main switch terminal. Make sure the main switch has a supply voltage between 12V and 13Vdc, and the ground or body wire registers a voltage of 0Vdc.

Step 2: Check Power Supply Connector for Main Switch
  1. If there is low voltage at the main switch terminal, examine the voltage at the power supply connector for the main switch. Look for signs of corrosion or damage on the connector pins.

Step 3: Clean Corroded Pins
  1. If corrosion is found on any terminal pin, clean it thoroughly using sandpaper. After cleaning, reconnect the pin to the connector. Corrosion can disrupt the flow of electricity and cause voltage drops.

Step 3: Verify Main Switch Supply Voltage
  1. After cleaning the corroded pin, recheck the supply voltage of the main switch to ensure it ranges between 12V and 13Vdc when the switch is both ON and OFF.

    When the switch is ON, the voltage drop to 8V
Step 3: Inspect the Starter Magnetic Switch
  1. If the voltage is fine when the switch is OFF but drops when it's ON, the starter magnetic switch may be causing the issue. Open it up and inspect its condition.

  1. In this scenario, all components were working fine except for low voltage at the connector. The suspicion is that there may be corrosion at the connection point between the battery and the connector.

Step 3: Temporary Fix with a Jumper Wire
  1. To confirm the issue, a temporary fix was applied by connecting a jumper wire from the battery's positive terminal to the connector. This bypassed any corroded connection.

Step 3: Recheck Main Switch Supply Voltage
  1. After applying the temporary fix, recheck the supply voltage of the main switch to see if the voltage drop has been resolved.

Step 3: Start the Motorcycle
  1. With the voltage issue resolved, attempt to start the motorcycle to see if it's working correctly now.

  1. Since the temporary fix confirmed the issue, it's time to install a new wire from the battery to the connector using a 2.5mm² wire size. Crimp connectors were used for secure connections.

Step 3: Test the Motorcycle Again
  1. After installing the new wire, start the motorcycle again to ensure that the power issue has been completely resolved.
