How to Wire an XH-W3001 Temperature Controller for 12V DC

The XH-W3001 is a digital temperature controller used in various temperature-control projects. In this tutorial, we explain the basic connections for a compatible 12V DC version.

Components Required

• XH-W3001 temperature controller (12V DC version)

• Compatible 12V DC power supply

• NTC10K temperature probe

• Suitable load, such as an LED circuit

• Connecting wires

Basic Wiring

XH-3001 12 VDC Wiring Diagram.

1. Connect the temperature probe to the probe terminals.

2. Connect the 12V DC power supply to the controller's input terminals, observing the correct polarity.

3. Connect the load through the controller's relay output according to the wiring diagram for your specific module.

4. Check all connections before applying power.

Setting the Temperature

Use the controller's buttons to adjust the required temperature settings. The actual ON/OFF behaviour depends on whether the controller is configured for heating or cooling mode.

Testing

After confirming the wiring, power the controller and test its response to changes in probe temperature. Use a suitable load within the relay's rating.

Safety note: Disconnect the power before changing any wiring. Do not assume that every XH-W3001 variant has the same terminal arrangement. Verify the printed labels and manufacturer's documentation for your specific model.
