Components Required

  • XH-W3001 24V DC temperature controller

  • 24V DC power supply

  • LED

  • Suitable current-limiting resistor

  • Breadboard

  • Jumper wires

  • Connecting terminals

  • Temperature probe supplied with the controller

Installation and Wiring

Wiring diagram for XH-W3001 24VDC.

  1. Identify the power input, relay output, and temperature probe connections.

  2. Refer to the wiring diagram for the correct terminal connections.

  3. Connect the 24V DC power supply to the controller's power input.

  4. Connect the LED and suitable resistor to the relay output circuit.

  5. Check all connections before switching on the power.

Setting the Temperature

  1. Press and hold the UP button for approximately 3 seconds to enter the temperature setting.

  2. Adjust the desired ON temperature to 34°C.

  3. Press and hold the DOWN button for approximately 3 seconds to access the OFF temperature setting.

  4. Adjust the desired OFF temperature to 36.3°C.

The actual switching behaviour depends on the controller's operating mode and configuration. Check the model's instructions to confirm the correct settings.

Testing the Controller

Heat the temperature probe carefully and observe the LED as the temperature changes. Allow the probe to cool and observe the relay output again.

For a heating application, verify that the controller switches the output at the intended temperatures before connecting any actual equipment.

Safety Note: Disconnect the power before changing wiring. Confirm the controller's terminal layout, supply voltage, relay ratings, and LED resistor value before testing.
